Blogs about Ireland

My fall semester of my senior year of high school, I was incredibly blessed with the opportunity to be an exchange student and spend five months living in a small town called Tramore, in Co. Waterford, Ireland.  That experience, while being all that a normal exchange experience promises, was one of the most stretching and beautiful seasons of my life to date.  If I was ever meant to do anything, I was meant to go have those five months in Ireland.  The Lord did so much it's hard to explain or even try to list it all; I always end up getting lost in wonder at God's grace and how evident it was during that season.

My blog originally started to keep in touch with people back home during that time.  So, here are the posts from those five months, so no one has to search for them... Being my first blogs, they are a bit rough, so please don't be too critical!

In Ireland:

The next few months after Ireland, I didn't post anything; then a couple of blogs came up that helped me to process the reverse culture shock I was going through and just expressed a lot fo what I really appreciated and still miss about Ireland.  These blogs are not all solely about that, but at least express something of what I was going through the next few months and all relate to or talk about Ireland somehow:

Overall, those five months in Ireland were some fo the craziest, hardest, and most Spirit-filled of my life.  In many ways, that adventure was a turning point, and in other ways a launching pad.  It confirmed, challenged, healed, and revealed so many things in my life.  I'm truly changed.  I can't wait to go back.  And hopefully, these blog posts (rough as they are... some of them do make me cringe) can reveal to you something of God's glory in all of that mess.
